Incremental & Elective Patrol Duty (PD) Titles Available from SDAssoc.
Patrol Duty (PD) Incremental titles can be earned in each of the individual segments and electives as follows.
Incremental PD Titles:
Patrol Duty - Obedience (PD-OB)
Patrol Duty - Man Work (PD-MW)
Patrol Duty - Building Search (PD-BS)
Patrol Duty - Area Search (PD-AS)
NOTE: Each of the various phases and excerises of the Patrol Duty K-9 Certification (PD K-9 Cert.) are identical to the corresponding Incremental Patrol Duty (PD) Title (except for the PD Titles the dog is "on lead"). For more detailed information on any section of the PD K-9 Cert. examination, at the top of this page you can click on the phase you wish for a detailed explaination of the phase and each exercise of that phase - or - click on "PD-Titles" on the left to see the virtually identical corresponding PD title examination detail.
NOTE: If, over time, a K-9 Team earns every optional incremental PD Title, that K-9 Team, in order to achieve Patrol Duty K-9 Certification must still demonstrate proficiency with passing scores in an overall Patrol Duty K-9 Certification evaluation which covers all the required components in a single proficiency test.

About The Incremental PD Titles:
Each incremental PD title is but a single component of the very difficult overall Patrol Duty K-9 Certification (PD K-9 Cert.). Each (optional) incremental Patrol Duty (PD) title can be earned on an individual basis as a building block toward later earning the much coveted overall Patrol Duty K-9 Certification (PD K-9 Cert.).
About The Elective PD Titles:
These optional PD titles are electives that can be requested to be added to the overall PD K-9 certification or they can be evaluated as seperate optional PD titles.
