Patrol Duty Xtreme (PDX) "Street Pro" SDAssoc.'s Competition Level Service Dog Association has designed its Patrol Duty Xtreme (PDX) to be a very demanding venue where high-level K-9 Teams can test their "street" training against the "best of the best". A Patrol Duty Xtreme (PDX) title can be earned; however, the intent of the PDX designation is to promote competition, as the name implies, . . .at an extreme level! A Patrol Duty Xtreme (PDX) "Street Pro" Title is earned by the K-9 Team for correctly handling each and every surprise exercise, jump, distraction, and in motion command with a passing score in the PDX Obedience & Agility section. . . and each and every situation, bite, release, non-bite, and recall in the five (5) surprise PDX Man Work & Control scenarios with a passing score. NOTE: In order to compete in a Service Dog Association - Patrol Duty Xtreme (PDX) event, a dog must have previously been Certified or Titled in a test requiring the utilization of bite suits and/or hidden sleeves for its man work component. Surprise Distraction/s PDX "Street Pro" Man Work & Control Patrol Duty Xtreme - Man Work & Control will consist of a mix of five (5) scenarios choosen from a list of possible scenarios and announced just before the competition: - PDX Man Work decoys will use bitesuits and hidden sleeves only
- PDX Man Work will be off lead, unless otherwise noted.
- PDX Man Work scenario listing of all possible scenarios will be posted well in advance here on this web site.
- PDX Man Work will consist of five (5) scenarios choosen and announced just before the competition. One scenario or one of the bites in a scenario will be modified to be a recall/call off.
- PDX Man Work scenarios may include one bite, several bites, directed bites, redirected bites, bites in unusual places/situations, or no bites at all.
