- Something safe to resemble a knife.
- A building or something large for the decoy to run behind unseen.
- A hiding place unseen by the K-9.
"I'm Invisible" Scenario: - You and your K-9 are in hot pursuit of the perpetrator who you saw cutting up a prostitute in a alley.
- You warn to suspect to stop or you will send the K-9. He continues to run.
- As the K-9 starts in pursuit, the suspect disappears around a corner. As he does, he throws the knife away and finds a hiding place.
- The K-9 rounds the corner and cannot see the suspect. He must search for the suspect.
- When the K-9 locates the suspect, the suspect is motionless in a crouching position. The suspect remains absolutely motionless, hoping he is invisible to the dog.
- The K-9 must immediately apprehend the suspect who attempts to remain motionless.
- You appear on the scene and command your K-9 to release and then guard the suspect while you search him and then the immediate area for the knife.
- The scenario ends when you return to your K-9 still guarding the suspect.
