5.) "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" Equipment: - Three decoys in full bite suits.
- Two plastic baseball bats
- One vehicle
"Take Me Out to the Ball Game" Scenario: - You witness a street thug stop, attempt to rob, and then began beating an older man with a baseball bat.
- You are about 40 yards away with your K-9 and you call out for the thug to stop.
- He does stop. But, instead of running away, the thug turns toward you. He's threatening you with the bat as he moves toward you.
- You tell him to stop or you'll send the dog.
- He continues toward you with the bat.
- You send your K-9 to stop the thug with the bat and they meet head on. The K-9 must not bite the old man who was robbed standing nearby.
- As the thug is fighting with the dog, his accomplice, that you hadn't noticed, gets out of their getaway car parked near you. The accomplice is coming with another baseball bat to take you on.
- You must command your dog to release the thug and return to protect you from his accomplice.
- When the accomplice is aprehended, the K-9 must release on command and guard both men while you search them for more weapons.
