| SERVICE DOG ASSOCIATION (SDAssoc.)
Service Dog Association (SDAssoc.) is an organization that provides tests whereby law enforcement agencies, officers, and those training such dogs in the USA can train, demonstrate, evaluate, and certify their K-9's to either a recognized international standard or to a U.S. government approved standard.
The SDAssoc's. U.S. program is virtually identical to (or exceeds) the course content, training goals, and testing procedures of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Patrol Duty K-9 Team Certification Program approved on January 22, 1998 and used today by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission of the State of Florida.
SDAssoc. membership is open to all individuals. One need not be a sworn or certified officer to join SDAssoc. and evaluate a K-9 Team against either the recognized international KNPV standards or the legislated FDLE Patrol Duty K-9 (PD K-9 Cert.) U.S. standards.
Service Dog Association also offers a professional K-9 Detection Handler School, as well as, various K-9 Detection Team Certifications.
